Business Development Lead

STERIS Canada Corporation is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention. We help our customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare, life sciences, and dental products and services.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Lead - Life Sciences to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, technical consultation, and lead generation in their assigned territory for STERIS products to the Life Sciences industry.
Responsibilities:- Achieve all revenue, gross margin, and product sales objectives established by the Business Unit.
- Design and implement sales strategies to meet business goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, vaccine, and cell gene therapy markets.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or a related field, as well as several years of sales experience to pharma manufacturers or cGMP industry-related experience. Knowledge of regulated industries (cGMP, GLP, or similar) and involvement with PDA, ISPE, or similar industry organizations are also desirable.
