Acquisition and Licensing Project Lead for Content Expansion

Viaplay Group is seeking a highly motivated Content Acquisition Project Manager to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of the Content Acquisition team, you will be responsible for acquiring content across all Viaplay markets.

In this role, you will lead and work on projects from start to finish together with multiple stakeholders, to maximize the value of Viaplay's content investments. You will also support broader Central Content initiatives and be responsible for negotiating smaller content deals independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategic plans for content acquisition and delivery
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
  3. Manage and negotiate content agreements with third-party suppliers
  4. Provide expert guidance on content valuation and risk assessment
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in content acquisition or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
