Role Overview
The MathWorks, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Executive in the Nordic region.
About the Role
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the Nordic market.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and new customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for The MathWorks' products and services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and technical support, to develop compelling sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in Salesforce.
- Travel within the Nordic region (approximately 25%) to meet with customers, attend industry events, and participate in sales meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of professional work experience in software sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the software industry and its trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting targets.
