Client Engagement Specialist

Job Summary
The Client Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in managing the renewal process for a defined set of customers. This involves retaining existing contract revenue within existing buying centers and supporting new sales into these accounts made by the Account Executive. To achieve this, the successful candidate will need to liaise with internal teams to ensure the client's business needs are met, driving successful renewals and ensuring a strong revenue base for Dow Jones.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a retention strategy for assigned strategic accounts, ensuring a strong renewal plan is in place.
- Provide regular updates to the manager on high-risk renewal accounts within the region, highlighting strategies and ideas to turnaround.
- Work closely with the Product Training Specialist team to ensure appropriate levels of customer training and product utilization, monitoring internal reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the entire renewal lifecycle, from pricing and contracting to invoicing and client support, ensuring customer concerns are addressed correctly throughout the fiscal year.
- Support new sales into existing accounts to ensure maximum customer ROI with Dow Jones.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, including their industry, competitor solutions, and current and developing needs.
- Serve as a client conduit internally for feedback and competitive intelligence to Dow Jones Product, Content & Marketing.
- Identify opportunities for increased revenue within the set of accounts, working with other members of the sales team to follow through on such opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our systems, communicating with clients primarily via telephone and email.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer engagement or sales.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Fluency in Swedish or any other Scandinavian language is preferred.
