The role of Head of Learning and Leadership Development at Skanska Sverige AB presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's mission. About the Role

This strategic position entails leading Skanska Sweden's transformation into a high-performing learning organization, focusing on developing employees' competencies and cultivating a robust leadership culture. Key responsibilities include:


  • Driving the implementation of our updated leadership framework in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Continuing to drive the development of Skanska Sweden as a learning organization

As a leader, you will have personnel and budget responsibility, emphasizing sustainable and efficient working methods. Your team consists of 12 employees with expertise in leadership development, executive recruitment, HR specialists, and training administration. Collaboration with HR, line managers, and other critical units is essential for influencing and driving change effectively.

You should possess strong communication skills, be able to translate organizational needs into actionable learning initiatives, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Proactivity, perseverance, and commitment characterize your approach, and you are comfortable operating in a visible leadership role.


  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading learning, competence, and leadership development in a large organization
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a manager with direct personnel responsibility
  • Proven experience in leading transformation initiatives to enhance learning capabilities in a large organization
  • Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
  • An academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications deemed suitable by the employer

Experience in managing large-scale leadership development programs and knowledge of digital learning platforms are highly valued assets. Proficiency in advanced Swedish and English is also required.
