We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Automotive team, you will be responsible for driving business development, managing customer relationships, and overseeing Key Account Managers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. They should possess excellent communication skills, be able to navigate complex contract negotiations, and thrive in a high-pressure multi-cultural environment.
Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with knowledge of the automotive and battery industry, start-up and growth company experience, fluency in multiple languages, and experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Job Description:
- Drive business development and growth through identifying and pursuing new opportunities
- Manage customer relationships and develop strategies to increase revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver superior products and solutions
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers
- Advocate for customers internally towards R&D, Factory, supply chain, etc.
Requirements:
- MSc in Engineering or Business
- 7 years of experience in sales and business development roles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to address everyone from working-level specialists to C-level executives
- Skilled in complex contract negotiation and technical solution selling
- Ability to travel from time to time
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills in both technical and business environments
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to work in a high-profile and often high-pressure multi-cultural environment
- Thrive in working within tight deadlines and be excellent at prioritization and time management
- Possess plenty of grit, a can-do attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, a great eye for quality, a sense of humor, and a curious mind
