Sales Excellence Specialist

At Edison Smart, we're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving revenue growth with dynamic mid-market and commercial businesses across the Nordic region.
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of your sales strategy and consistently deliver results. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, manage them from initial conversations through to final contract execution, and create and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
Your Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Achieve or exceed revenue targets and sales goals consistently.
- Deliver compelling presentations, tailored proposals, and value-based demonstrations of our innovative platform.
- Design and execute a strategic plan to acquire and grow customer accounts, with guidance as needed.
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and secure contracts with prospective clients.
- Foster relationships with existing clients to uncover additional revenue opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
- Navigate the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing and account management.
- Deliver precise sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date records of all activity.
- Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations to drive deal progression.
- Manage your schedule effectively to optimize prospecting, client engagement, and follow-ups.
- Work collaboratively with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and achieve shared objectives.
You'll Bring to the Role:
- Experience in fields such as cloud networking, cybersecurity, edge computing, or content delivery services.
- A minimum of five years in tech sales or business development, engaging with senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in the mid-market sector, with a history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
- A strong technical foundation in areas such as web analytics, cloud storage, CDN services, or managed hosting solutions.
- Familiarity with the tech startup and scale-up landscape within the Nordic region.
- A proven ability to prospect, manage pipelines, close deals, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in Swedish and English.
- A proactive and independent mindset, paired with a hunger for learning and a knack for problem-solving.
- A customer-centric approach, with a genuine interest in understanding and addressing unmet business needs.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with the drive to outperform expectations and exceed sales targets.
