Sales Development Representative

About the Role:
Tanium is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing business. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with our marketing teams, partner community, and sales teams to drive business growth and develop a long-term technology sales career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule high-quality meetings for field sales team members using a defined sales methodology and leveraging sales strategies within your territory.
- Manage lead generation and follow-up activity on inbound leads for your territory.
- Utilize world-class tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator to drive impact across your territory.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams on messaging, field events, and defined campaigns.
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace through regular trainings and enablement.
- Work with leadership to build strong communication skills and learn how to deliver effective reporting back to the business.
- Meet or exceed minimum weekly activity metrics: calls, emails, conversations, and meetings.
- Work closely with your team and business partners in a highly collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of Enterprise SaaS or Security experience preferred.
- Demonstrate passion for being part of a team focused on helping customers solve pressing needs in Security and IT, while driving innovation and collaboration across the business.
- Build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted resource for the team.
- Work closely with a high-energy, dynamic sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches.
- Be eager to learn, committed to getting 1% better every day, and open to feedback.
