About the Role:

Academic Search International is seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Executive Director to lead our expansion in Sweden. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in business development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies aligned with the Group CEO's vision to drive financial performance and sustainable growth in the Swedish market.
  2. Lead through managers as the team expands, ensuring full P&L responsibility and operational excellence in clinics.
  3. Track KPIs on operational, commercial, and financial performance, identifying and implementing growth initiatives, including M&A and greenfield operations.
  4. Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and marketing team to accelerate market penetration, leveraging commercial leadership approach and D2C marketing experience.
  5. Establish and develop a small team in collaboration with Group HR, overseeing IT systems and GDPR compliance, working with Group IT.
  6. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of success, coupled with in-depth knowledge of B2C and related marketing initiatives.
  2. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with a focus on growth, excellent financial management skills, and P&L responsibility experience.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and results-oriented, fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
