The Position: Senior Developer - Revenue Engineering

We seek a seasoned Senior Developer to lead our Revenue Engineering team at Soundtrack Your Brand. As the Technical Lead and Developer, your primary objective will be to design and implement scalable revenue solutions that propel business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Exercise technical leadership to guide the team in making strategic architectural decisions for developing a robust and maintainable platform.
  2. Establish, execute, and continually refine development processes and methodologies. Identify and rectify bottlenecks.
  3. Contribute to resource allocation to achieve key performance indicators and objectives.
  4. Ensure the backlog and corresponding development roadmap strike a balance between features, enhancements, and issues.
  5. Synchronize development projects with other teams' roadmaps.
  6. Provide mentorship and guidance within the team to cultivate a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.
  7. Advocate best practices for development teams and technology.
Requirements

Excellent proficiency in system architecture and best practices in SaaS environments or billing-related systems is mandatory. Proficiency in one main programming language (e.g., GO, Scala, Java, Python) is essential.

In addition, you have experience in most or all of the following areas:

  • Cloud-native architecture (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Large-scale distributed systems and codebases
  • Service APIs
  • GraphQL APIs and libraries (we use Caliban on the backend and Apollo for clients)
  • Automated testing
