Head of Marketing to Alva Labs

We are now looking for our next Head of Marketing to help us redefine our category and bring Alva to the world.
The company
Alva Labs is a Stockholm-based B2B SaaS company that offers a talent assessment solution where we help our customers grow their teams in a scientific and data-driven way. By combining state-of-the-art psychometric assessments, the latest research in designing candidate selection systems, data science, and an obsession with candidate and user experience, we are attempting to redefine the industry and help our companies set and reach the bar for what world-class hiring looks like.
Since starting the company in 2017 we’ve had great success in Sweden and increasing traction in Norway, and our main focus as of now is expanding internationally and continuing to build a product that revolutionizes our industry.
The role
The Marketing team is the locomotive to our go-to-market process. As our marketing leader you will be crucial to setting direction and executing on Alva’s growth and expansion efforts, both in current and new markets. You will set, execute and own our Marketing strategy, lead our ABM and demand gen approach, and lead the Marketing team of course. Your most important KPIs will be to help drive net new ARR growth in an effective and efficient way.
Your most important battles to win in this role will be:
1. Position Alva as the thought-leader in the space, mission-critical and unlike anybody else in this space (rare and critical)
2. Effectively and repeatably build pipeline and demand in the Enterprise segment
3. Build our brand, impact, and demand in new territories (e.g., international expansion)
You will report to our CEO, and be part of our GTM leadership team.

We believe in finding the right person, not the perfect CV, but in order to be successful in this role we believe that you:
- Drive impact rather than optics (we’re not looking for a “dashboard warrior” or fancy presentations)
- Have seen it before and bring a playbook for how to run a successful B2B Enterprise marketing team and how to effectively work together with Sales, CS, and product teams to bring our value to market
- Are frugal and innovative, always trying to do more with less - high impact with a lean and mean team, and budget
- Are a “glass-half-full” kind of person, always positive and constructive (there are lots of mountains to climb, there will be ups and downs, and it will be great fun to do so)
- Can attract, build and develop an outstanding B2B marketing team
- Fluent in English, Swedish is not a must

Your future colleagues
We are a team of 60+ people, representing a wide selection of professional backgrounds. The common denominator is the excitement for our mission, to create a fair and efficient job market. There is a lot of engagement and eagerness to build something spectacular together with a talented and ambitious team.
The Marketing team is currently a nimble team of three, a content expert, a growth and digital expert, as well as a part-time event manager. You will also work closely with our internal subject matter experts and thought leaders.
