Founded in 2022 with already 500 employees and growing, Aira aims to drive the clean energy revolution. We are headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and our factory in Poland brings these innovations to life, with operating markets in the UK, Italy, and Germany.
About the role
We are expanding our Group finance team and is now looking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join the team in Stockholm. The new Corporate Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily financial administration. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should be a well-organized and practical problem solver, thriving in an entrepreneurial setting with demanding deadlines.
This role requires experience from independently completing a full financial statement for a company. To succeed we think you have strong analytical thinking, a structured and ambition approach, coupled with a personal drive to assume responsibility and work autonomously.
Your main focus areas
Independently handle monthly closing work and account reconciliationsEnsure that all input from bookkeeping activities is properly done to reach a high degree of documentation and quality standards Annual reporting, including financial statements VAT and tax approvalManage Audit requests and planning in Parent company.Superuser for Dynamics 365 (Finance operations) and contact person to IT departmentAdministrative tasks relating to employees including salary, vacation and travel expensesResponsible for daily invoicing and payments for swedish entity (outsourced to accounting firm)Supporting management in monthly and yearly budget processes and forecastingWorking together with the finance team to support internal stakeholdersWho we think you are

Experience from a similar position, doing the closing of books for a companyExperience from reporting of VAT to the tax authoritiesStrong administrative experience is preferredProfessional, proactive and organized with attention to detailsExceptional communications skills and the ability to collaborate across different departments and stakeholdersAbility to work well in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentExcellent Excel skillsStructured and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesBachelor/Masters Degree in accounting, business accounting, finance or equivalentFluent in Swedish and English is a must, both written and spokenWhat is in it for you?
