Area Lead - Compensation

As “Area Lead Compensation”, you will report to the Head of Total Reward and be part of the People & Culture group function. In this role, you will have the chance to lead our Reward journey across our footprint and collaborate with our international network across the whole Telia organization.

You will lead our two main group-wide Reward processes, i.e. salary review and STI which are managed through our Workday system. To secure connection with the broader Telia, you will also be Reward Partner for a Group Function and own the Telia global job structure and underpinning pay ranges structures.

As we have a flexible and agile approach within our team, you will have a great opportunity to develop, contribute and work with different countries and other areas within People & Culture.

In this role you will;

Lead the Telia STI process and the Telia salary review processes, supported by country experts in form of Reward Partners Own Telia Global Job Structure and its underpinning pay ranges structure, including contracts with market data vendors etc. Partnering both with local People Partners and with the colleagues in the reward team to drive and support the overall reward agenda and align it across our footprint Advise and train the business to be compliant in reward processes, using the common tools, methods, and ways of working Drive projects or act as workstream lead or project member to group Reward initiatives.

Is this you?

In this role you need to have solid experience from working in the Reward area. Maybe you have experience from being a Reward specialist or a Compensation & Benefit Partner/Specialist in an innovative and multi-cultural organization or experience from a role as Reward consultant.

We need you to have vast experience within salary structures and STI models, as well as good knowledge from developing and managing compensation processes in HR systems such as Workday or similar.

Moreover, you are confident in providing recommendations and solutions to senior leaders related to compensation and benefits. You are business-oriented and cost-conscious and know how to balance between various needs in a large organization. You are used to navigating in a complex matrix organization with cross-functional collaborations and in close contact with managers and HR colleagues at all levels. In all of your work, you rely on solid stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.

As we act in a global setting, you should be fluent in English, verbally and in writing. You have a university degree in Business Administration, Economics or other related field(s).
