At Arlo Europe, part of Verisure, we are seeking a talented and passionate Retail Sales Business Developer Account Manager.

You will report directly into the Head of Sales Omnichannel, while working closely with the rest of the Sales and Marketing Organization. You can be based in London (Victoria), Madrid, Stockholm (Solna) or Paris (Antony). You will be required to travel and visit your clients approximately once per quarter.

As a Sales Developer Retail Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Arlo's success in your assigned countries and will be central to shaping current and future growth strategies, by developing current accounts but also chasing new business opportunities.

You will be expected to impact quickly, adapt your strategy per country dynamic and market and develop as the business grows. Strategic context and Value proposition

Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019, we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo, a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlo’s European business, in particular, the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe, including e-commerce and retail. Additionally, Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.

Today, Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail d, we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales, Alliances and acquisition of Arlo Europe gave us a leadership strong position in these two emerging and important future emerging channels for our business. This transaction has strategic led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

Arlo Europe is present in 49 Countries and its expansion is continuing rapidly . The Retail Account Manager will support our growth in line with a strong and visionary Management that is creating a robust business plan for value creation.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the daily operations and all associated responsibilities of Retail Sales as detailed below. Key responsibilities include:

Manage a portfolio of retail accounts including but not is not limited to execution of category and SKU merchandising, promotions (including tactical and strategic planning), inventory (sales in and out), critical product launches, product strategy, field sales and retail marketing for the countries assigned to you.

Full accountability and P&L responsibility

Lead the annual retail sales strategy for the countries under your responsibility

Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas. Top and bottom line

Build strong relationships with customer representatives to ensure successful partnerships

Responsibility for building & negotiating annual terms / Joint Business Plans (JBP) to ensure a long-term, sustainable & successful retail relationship

Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasting and demand planning

Seek out and develop new partners / business opportunities to maximise growth

Continuously monitor and analyse market and portfolio performance to identify opportunities

Be the expert on the competitive environment and develop the appropriate plans to the be category leader

Collaborate with other departments, both internally and externally, as needed to deliver targets

Candidate profile

Experiences and Qualifications

You combine relevant commercial experience with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business. You will excel as both a strategic solution provider and an operational enabler. You are a true hunter and want to develop your customer portfolio to exceed expectations / targets.

Minimum of 5 years sales account management experience ideally in large-scale retail and retail sale, ideally having worked with distributors.

Demonstrable understanding of the UK retail and ecommerce market.

Strong account management skills with high regard for attention to detail and content management.

Action oriented individual with a proven drive for results

Resilient, excellent problem identification and remediation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong collaborator across various functions to achieve a common goal; Capable of building productive relationships internally and externally across management and functional levels.

Digitally fluent with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Vendor Central and various online tools.

Understanding and managing all aspects of a P&L

Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices

Strong negotiation skills
