E-commerce Product Strategist | Online Retail Sector

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals skilled in evaluating market demands and crafting strategic initiatives aimed at expansion. We present a role where you will contribute to the development of a premier online retail platform in the Nordics.

Your responsibilities will include comprehending user and business requirements, translating these into actionable product development. We value your commercial insight to convert these needs into appropriate features and strategies, ensuring a substantial Return On Investment.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product designers, and business stakeholders to foster alignment among project participants. Your role will encompass managing projects of varying scales while taking ownership of different segments of the product lifecycle. This may involve enhancing the checkout process, optimizing product pages, or refining promotional features. Your daily tasks will thus range from routine responsibilities to long-term projects.

As an individual, you are innovative and data-driven in your decision-making. You are not constrained by conventional practices and possess a continuous drive for improvement. A customer-centric and commercial mindset is essential, along with strong prioritization skills to ensure our efforts align with the best interests of the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

● Formulate and execute product strategies that align with the company's vision and directives from senior management.

● Define both long-term and short-term roadmaps, ensuring product growth and enhancement.

● Propel product advancements and innovations by gathering insights from both external and internal customer feedback.

● Analyze business metrics and data to inform decisions that drive growth.

● Create and review Product Requirements Documents (PRD).

● Oversee feature delivery and make informed trade-off decisions regarding the product.

● Continuously strive to enhance e-commerce KPIs and user experience.

YOUR PROFILE

● Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role.

● Previous experience managing product roadmaps and the complete product lifecycle.

● Strong skills in stakeholder management across diverse teams, including designers, engineers, and business leaders.

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

● Relevant experience in e-commerce or similar software-driven industries.

● Experience working within a feature squad structure is advantageous.

To excel in this position, you must be an effective communicator and self-motivated. A solid understanding of commercial and market dynamics is crucial, along with the ability to translate needs into strategic initiatives. Technical understanding and the ability to engage with developers will be beneficial.
