E-commerce Product Strategist | Online Retail Sector

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role presents a distinctive chance for professionals skilled in evaluating market demands and crafting strategic initiatives aimed at expansion. Join us in our mission to enhance the leading online retail platform in the Nordics.

Your primary responsibility will be to comprehend user and business requirements, transforming these insights into actionable product development. With your commercial acumen, you will effectively translate these needs into appropriate features and strategies, ensuring a robust Return On Investment.

Collaboration will be key as you work closely with developers, product designers, and business stakeholders to foster alignment among project members. You will oversee a range of projects, from minor enhancements to significant initiatives, taking ownership of various aspects of the product lifecycle. This may include optimizing the checkout process, refining product pages, or enhancing promotional features. Your daily activities will thus encompass a mix of routine tasks and long-term projects.

As an innovative individual, your decisions will be data-driven. You will challenge the status quo and possess an ongoing desire for improvement. A customer-centric and commercially focused mindset is essential, along with strong prioritization skills to ensure our efforts align with the best interests of the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

● Formulate and execute product strategies that align with the company's vision and senior leadership directives.

● Define both long-term and short-term roadmaps, ensuring continuous product growth and enhancement.

● Propel product advancements and innovations by gathering and acting on feedback from both external and internal customers.

● Analyze business metrics and data to inform decisions that drive growth.

● Create and review Product Requirements Documents (PRD).

● Manage feature delivery and make informed trade-off decisions regarding the product.

● Continuously strive to enhance e-commerce KPIs and user experience.

YOUR PROFILE

● A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role.

● Prior experience managing product roadmaps and overseeing the entire product lifecycle.

● Strong stakeholder management capabilities across diverse teams, including designers, engineers, and business leaders.

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

● Relevant experience in e-commerce or similar software-driven industries.

● Experience with a feature squad structure is advantageous.

To excel in this position, you should be an exceptional communicator and self-motivated. A solid understanding of commercial and market dynamics will enable you to translate needs into effective strategies. Technical understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with developers will be beneficial.
