E-commerce Product Strategist | Online Retail Sector

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role presents a distinctive chance for professionals skilled in evaluating market demands and crafting strategic initiatives aimed at expansion. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and contributing to the development of a premier online retail platform in the Nordics.

Your primary responsibility will be to comprehend user and business requirements, translating these insights into actionable product development. With your commercial acumen, you will effectively convert these insights into the appropriate features and strategic direction, ensuring optimal Return On Investment.

Collaboration will be key as you work closely with developers, product designers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment among all project participants. You will oversee a range of projects, from minor enhancements to significant initiatives, taking ownership of various aspects of the product lifecycle. This includes improving user experiences such as the checkout process, product pages, and promotional features. Your daily activities will therefore encompass a mix of routine tasks and long-term projects.

As an individual, you are innovative and data-driven in your decision-making. You are not constrained by conventional methods and possess a continuous desire for improvement. A customer-centric and commercially aware mindset is essential, along with strong prioritization skills to ensure that our efforts are focused on what is most beneficial for the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

● Formulate and execute product strategies that align with the company's vision and leadership directives.

● Define both long-term and short-term roadmaps, ensuring the product evolves and enhances over time.

● Propel product enhancements and innovations by actively gathering feedback from both external and internal customers.

● Analyze business metrics and data to inform decisions that drive growth.

● Create and review Product Requirements Documents (PRD).

● Manage feature delivery and make informed trade-off decisions regarding the product.

● Continuously strive to enhance e-commerce KPIs and overall usability.

YOUR PROFILE

● A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role.

● Prior experience managing a product roadmap and overseeing the complete product lifecycle.

● Strong stakeholder management capabilities across diverse teams, including designers, engineers, and business leaders.

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

● Relevant experience in e-commerce or similar software-driven environments.

● Experience working within a feature squad structure is advantageous.

To excel in this position, you must be an effective communicator and self-motivated. A solid understanding of commercial and market dynamics, along with the ability to translate needs into strategic initiatives, is crucial. Technical knowledge and the ability to engage with developers will also be beneficial.
