About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Commerce Product Designer to join our team at Zoner Oy. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our web presence, collaborating with our marketing leads to translate user needs and business objectives into outstanding landing pages, order and upselling/cross-selling flows, campaign concepts, and visual designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user-centered digital products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, UX, and development, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of design solutions.
  • Conduct user research, analysis, and testing to inform design decisions and ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs, preferences, and behaviors to inform design decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design capabilities.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement effective design strategies that drive business results.
  • Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and quality across our digital products.
  • Provide design guidance and support to other team members to ensure that our design standards are met.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, marketing, or agency settings.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in New Media Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, UX Design, or a related field.
  • Solid and diverse digital commerce-focused design portfolio.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining customer journeys and personas from user research.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis, market, and user research to identify best practices and shape hypotheses on how best to address requirements.
  • Experience with a wide range of research tools, such as Maze, HotJar, Dovetail, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong advocate of user testing, user research, and customer centricity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Mobile-first mindset with expertise in designing for both mobile and desktop.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
  • Expert knowledge of Figma.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
  • Familiarity with working with design systems.
  • Passionate about ideation and concept sessions with marketing leads, product managers, developers, and designers.
  • Effective in managing stakeholders and engaging and involving them from the beginning (research, strategy, concept) to the end (design and implementation).
  • Great sense of aesthetics and a creative mind.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on excellent visual implementation.
  • Enthusiastic problem solver.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
Additional Skills
  • Experience with marketing or software products, preferably SaaS products.
  • Experience with creating animations, maybe After Effects and Lottie animations.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS.
