As an Installation Leader at Alstom, you will be responsible for planning, leading and executing installation activities in alignment with applicable Installation procedures. You will ensure everything adheres to requirements and make sure that all installation activities are executed and documented.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing installation-related documentation, such as installation instructions, protocols/records and ensuring they are reviewed, accessible and archived according to project routines and directives.
  • Preparing time schedules in cooperation with the Work Package Owner, Test Leader and Commissioning Manager.
  • Leading and executing installation activities and signing drawings/records/reports during and after performed installations.
  • Ensuring that requests for dispositions, closed track, and other protective measures are carried out when needed.
  • Making sure that involved personnel have the correct qualifications and authorizations to perform their respective tasks.
  • Making sure that work is carried out with respect to personal safety.

Requirements:

  • Upper secondary school (Gymnasium) Electricity and Energy Programme or equivalent.
  • ECY-certificate or equivalent.
  • Documented experience as an Installation Leader in Swedish railway signalling projects, or similar type of experience (5 years) with installation of signalling/control systems in another industry.
  • Ability to travel mainly in Sweden, but also abroad.
  • Grit, rigor, initiative-taking, and problem-solving orientation.
  • Driven, with a solid technical interest and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
