Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager/Field Sales Representative to join our successful Automated Chemistry Team at Mettler Toledo. As a key member of our Nordic HQ in Stockholm, you will be responsible for delivering sales targets for Automated Chemistry products, including service contracts, and collaborating with customers to understand and align with their strategic business drives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for Automated Chemistry products in the Nordic region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow the installation base and market share.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Proactively seek business from strategically selected accounts to expand the customer base.
  • Support lead generation across the wider organization.

Requirements

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Chemistry, Material Science, Biology, or similar; technical background is essential.
  • Experience in the Biochemical, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical, Chemical Engineering, or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial targets and objectives.
  • High value placed on experience selling high capital equipment within Automated Chemistry, such as Chemical Synthesis Reactors, FTIR & Raman Spectrometers, or Particle Size Analyzers.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field sales role.
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to work.
  • Knowledge of drug development and manufacturing processes.
  • Wider knowledge of Pharma, BioPharma, Fine Chemical, Academic, and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO) sectors.
