Job Description:

The Business Development Specialist - Microbiology will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the Microbiology Business Division, targeting national accounts in Sweden. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities and supporting geographic account activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop strategic relationships with national accounts to advance MBD access and opportunities
  • Develop and coordinate resources to provide comprehensive solutions to drive growth in product areas
  • Owning Strategic Relationships to identify new business opportunities and supports geographic account activities
  • Implement preferred provider relationships and strategic partnerships to demonstrate the MBD and Thermo product portfolio
Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Process Management - lead contractual processes including Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider / Master Services agreements / pricing agreements and tender submissions
  • Reporting - provide account status reports as required- integrate Sales as part of daily work to ensure accurate reporting
  • Continuous improvement - find opportunities for standardized work, and improvement of quality and service with customer base

Estimated salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Benefits include a company car or car allowance and pension.
