Lead Quality Assurance Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our newly established logistics facility. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our quality assurance efforts, maintaining strong collaboration with upstream quality assurance teams, logistics intake teams, procurement, culinary departments, and suppliers to guarantee that incoming products meet established specifications and regulatory standards. You will engage with various markets to disseminate knowledge and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Your daily responsibilities will include supervising a team of three skilled quality coordinators. You will also play a key role in our error-reduction initiatives alongside strategic procurement and technical quality assurance teams, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality experience. You will be accountable for the compliance of the logistics facility, ensuring successful audits and certifications.

Key Responsibilities...
Ensure adherence to company standards, BRC Storage and distribution guidelines, HACCP principles, Food Safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including equipment and environmental sanitation Maintain and ensure the accuracy of site quality documentation (e.g., PRPs, SOPs, and specific monitoring records) Collaborate closely with production teams to manage food safety and quality from intake to dispatch, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations Identify opportunities for enhancement and develop efficient procedures (e.g., managing FIFO, handling leftover food, and streamlining communication processes) Partner with international quality assurance teams on strategic projects, successfully implementing these initiatives locally Lead a team of technical quality coordinators responsible for daily supplier interactions, conducting product testing upon receipt, and inspecting newly received products to ensure compliance with quality standards Analyze error data to identify trends and emerging issues, focusing on root cause analysis and developing sustainable solutions Support investigations of significant food safety complaints across all categories, monitoring weekly and monthly trends Motivate colleagues to prioritize product quality and brand integrityQualifications...
