The Role

We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art warehouse operations. In this pivotal position, you will spearhead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration with upstream FSQA team members, warehouse receiving teams, procurement, culinary departments, and suppliers to guarantee that all incoming products meet established specifications and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in cross-market collaboration, sharing insights and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include managing a dedicated team of three skilled quality coordinators, as well as leading various error-reduction projects in partnership with strategic procurement and the FSQA technical team, all aimed at delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will also be accountable for maintaining warehouse compliance, ensuring successful audits and certifications.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of HelloFresh in the Nordics and be part of a dynamic scale-up journey.

Key Responsibilities...

Ensure adherence to HelloFresh standards, BRC Storage and distribution requirements, HACCP principles, Food Safety regulations, and GMP, including equipment and environmental sanitation. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of site quality documentation (e.g., PRPs, SOPs, and specific monitoring records). Collaborate closely with the production team to manage food safety and quality from inbound to dispatch, ensuring compliance with HelloFresh standards and relevant regulations. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and develop efficient procedures (e.g., managing FIFO, leftover food, and communication processes). Work with International FSQA teams on strategic projects, successfully implementing these initiatives locally. Lead a team of technical quality coordinators responsible for daily supplier communications, conducting quality assessments upon receipt, and inspecting newly received products for compliance. Analyze error data to identify trends and emerging issues, focusing on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions. Support investigations of serious food safety complaints across all categories, monitoring weekly and monthly trends. Motivate colleagues to prioritize product quality and brand integrity.

Qualifications...

Master's degree in Food Science or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment. A structured work approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish are essential. Proficient analytical skills with a solid command of Excel/Google Sheets. Experience in a GMP facility is advantageous, along with familiarity with HACCP principles. A proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach. Confident and personable, capable of managing a complex network of suppliers delivering a diverse range of perishable ingredients. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, even under pressure.
