About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious key account manager to join our mission to transform the automotive industry into a sustainable battery electric future. This role is crucial in achieving this mission by developing strong relationships with key customers and winning new business.
The Job
- As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will work on developing customer relationships on a senior level with one of our global automotive customer groups.
- Your focus will be on both delivering existing projects together with key account managers and winning new business with the customer.
- This role offers a high level of diversity, ranging from leading detailed engineering discussions with R&D teams to negotiating multi-billion-dollar contracts.
About the Team
The key account team is responsible for maintaining and developing our existing automotive customers. The team is based at our headquarters in Stockholm and travels regularly to our customers' sites, our R&D centre in Västerås, and our main production site in Skellefteå.
Key Responsibilities Include
- You will be responsible for the customer relationship for one or several of our Automotive customers.
- You will be the first level of escalation on existing projects with the customer.
- You will be responsible for business development for new opportunities with the customer, including aligning technical roadmaps and driving RFIs/RFQs to win new business.
- You will negotiate towards the customer on existing and new contracts.
- You will advocate for the customer internally towards R&D, factory, supply chain, etc.

Requirements
- You should have an MBA or M.Sc. in engineering including business/finance studies or similar.
- 10+ years working in key account management for a Tier 1 supplier towards the automotive industry is required.
- Battery industry experience is valuable but not a must.
- You should have excellent analytical & communication skills.
- You should be a bold problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- You should be passionate about making a positive impact.
- You should have strong leadership skills.
