Job Responsibilities
The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for maintaining expert-level understanding of the functionality and technical architecture of our products. This includes assisting in the client discovery process, conducting reviews of discovery questionnaires, and developing a firm understanding of customer needs and pain points.
The successful candidate will also work closely with Sovos' Sales to conduct sales and solutions presentations, collaborate with Professional Services and product functions to ensure successful onboarding post-sale, and maintain demonstration capabilities to present a compelling narrative of the key features and benefits of Sovos solutions.
Key Performance Indicators
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional technical support to clients and internal sales teams
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
- Maintain expert-level understanding of product functionality and technical architecture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 6 years of Sales Engineer experience or equivalent
- Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Moderate travel required for client meetings, trade shows, and special projects
