Accounting Strategy Lead

As a Financial Controller at Walker Labs, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the company's financial operations, including day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and tax compliance.
- Implementing and maintaining financial systems, including ERP software and related accounting systems.
- Developing and managing budgets, and tracking and managing project costs.
- Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial processes, including month-end closing and cash flow statement preparation.
- Building and maintaining financial models to aid in strategic planning and forecasting.
You will also be responsible for:
- Identifying and implementing automation and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurately reflected in business decisions.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with digital product tax requirements and international sales tax regulations.
