About the Role: As a Head of Business Development at SSAB Special Steels, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and shaping the future of our company. Your primary responsibilities will include leading a global, diverse team with varied experiences, driving market analysis and research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, and developing and supporting the implementation of strategic plans to enter new markets or expand existing ones. Additionally, you will lead digital development initiatives within SSAB Special Steels, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation, enhancing sales efficiency and customer experience. Delivering training sessions to the sales team will also be a key responsibility. To succeed in this role, you must have a university degree or equivalent, minimum 5 years' experience with managerial experience included, a commercial mindset with a strategic, long-term approach, and open-minded, curious, and good communication skills. Knowledge and experience in the steel industry, as well as experience in product development and production, would be very beneficial.
