Position Overview

Are you a strategic thinker with robust leadership skills and extensive operational experience in project management? The role of Project Initiative Leader at Essity offers you a pivotal opportunity to guide and oversee both ongoing and new innovative projects.

At our production facility, we are dedicated to creating solutions that address global health challenges. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals committed to innovation and excellence.

In this position, you will influence local projects while also engaging in global initiatives. You will have access to various communication channels and participate in a network of global project leaders. Your role is crucial as our facility embarks on a growth journey, and you will be part of a management team that shares a vision for development.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Initiative Leader, you will ensure effective planning and execution of projects at the site, serving as a model for operational integration. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the site project portfolio and providing regular updates to the management team.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments to assess business needs and inputs.
  • Acting as the primary contact for all site initiatives, ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Engaging with the Global PS Medical Initiatives Director to align on standards and initiatives.
  • Driving value creation and quality improvement activities.
  • Developing and implementing site structures for tracking and reporting project activities.
  • Keeping the site organization informed about innovations and changes.
  • Leading initiatives aimed at achieving significant cost savings and enhancing market support.
  • Participating in portfolio meetings to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
  • Supporting budget preparation for material rationalization.
  • Mentoring and training team members and other departments on processes and initiative execution.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated individual with strong leadership qualities and a keen business sense. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in a relevant field, preferably in medical devices.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including interactions with site managers and global directors.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
