We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Project Manager to join our team at Vattenfall. As a key member of our Health and Safety Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in developing and driving strategic initiatives to improve health and safety performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage health and safety projects, including the H&S Contractor Management project, to improve health and safety performance and reduce risks.
- Develop, prepare, and align Vattenfall-wide strategic health and safety initiatives, concepts, and measures of improvement that add value to the business and contribute to the overall health and safety strategy and goals.
- Support and counsel Staff Function and other Business Areas in health and safety matters, including incorporating initiatives into Business Area Business plans to achieve health and safety ambition levels.
- Act as the point of contact for Vattenfall group in matters involving health and safety contractor management, requiring close cooperation with sustainability and procurement teams.
- Provide training on work environment matters and collaborate with safety representatives and union representatives in various forums.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience (at least 7-10 years) of operational safety management and health and safety matters.
- Proven experience as a project leader.
- Experience from supply chain management/procurement/contractor management is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, with language skills in Swedish and/or German and/or Dutch being a plus.
