Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Leader to drive the strategy and growth of our Nordic operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans that maximize sustainable profit growth across the region.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Full P&L responsibility for the region, ensuring effective management of financial resources allocated to the region and team.
  2. Positioning of our Lighting Brands in the market, driving increase in market share.
  3. Reach sales/profit targets and maximize sustainable profitable growth in the region.
  4. Maintain close relation and hands-on attitude with customers and team members in the region.
  5. Take an active role in the management of major/key customers and major projects within the region.
  6. Foster international exchange with different business functions and also at customer level; liaising with Global Marketing, Global Sales, and other members of the Zumtobel Group.
  7. In close cooperation with the VP Sales for the Region, further develop and coordinate the implementation of the global ZG sales strategy.
  8. Positively support and communicate all company decisions and processes and take ownership for implementation.
  9. Lead, develop, appraise, and inspire the management team both individually and collectively.
  10. Co-ordinate performance and talent development of direct and indirect reports ensuring a consistent approach throughout the region in alignment with the global people processes.

What We Are Looking For:

  1. A demonstrable track record of growing business; sales and profits.
  2. Strong senior leadership skills with a focus on people and culture.
  3. Clear experience within the lighting industry or similar and extensive Nordic market knowledge.
  4. Fluent in Swedish and English.
  5. Experience of working with Change Management/ability to drive change is required.
  6. Based in Stockholm or surrounding areas.
  7. Willing to travel nationally and internationally regularly to foster strong relationships both internally and externally.
