Position Overview:

Ecolab is seeking a proficient Technical Specialist to operate within the Refinery & Petrochemical Sector. This role involves delivering on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients regarding Ecolab's products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold a strong safety culture by following established protocols and utilizing tools designed to safeguard yourself, colleagues, and clients.
  • Exhibit safe driving practices and maintain company vehicles and equipment in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with district sales teams to manage service requests related to existing products and assist in resolving issues as needed.
  • Evaluate on-site challenges and utilize appropriate testing equipment to ensure systems meet customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to manage replacement parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of components.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining technical challenges and solutions to facilitate necessary product modifications or process improvements. Document value delivered to clients whenever feasible.
  • Assess, coordinate, and oversee external subcontractors to ensure adherence to repair timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with district personnel to enhance policies and procedures aimed at improving customer satisfaction.
  • Provide installation support services as required, including field assessments and installation documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements through ongoing internal training.
  • Participate in design evaluations, new application launches, and product assessments, working as part of a team to critique serviceability, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience from technical roles such as maintenance, equipment supply, electrical work, or programming is also valuable.
  • Proficient computer skills (Office, CRM, cloud-based platforms).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A solid work ethic and dedication to responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • A commercial mindset.
  • A valid B driving license.

Travel Requirements:
