About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Controller to join our team at Alstom. As an Industrial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our industrial operations, ensuring that costs are aligned with business objectives and that financial reporting is accurate and timely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate budgeting and monthly reporting activities for Operations Métiers/Functions, including Engineering, Procurement, Industrial operations & Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational objectives.
  • Maintain associated scorecards reconciling financials with operations KPIs and work with Operations to improve the reliability of financials.
  • Ensure Industrial, Supply chain, and Procurement function costs are in line with the site's commitments.
  • Lead Hourly rates/Coefficient orchestration activities ensuring right recovery and utilization-occupancy management.
  • Co-drive hard inventory valuation and action plans with the Site's management.
  • Participate in monthly closing activities such as inventories and work orders.
  • Support external audit processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure Operations Finance Standards are consistently applied across the board.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience or understanding of industrial controlling, cost management, and productivity initiatives.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and standard price calculation.
  • Familiarity with Operations Finance Standards and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Resilience in managing complex financial data and driving action plans.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest financial practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for monthly closing activities and audit support.
  • Adaptability to changing financial environments and business needs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English & Swedish.
