Lead Solutions Sales Executive

The Senior Solutions Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving new business and expanding customer sales opportunities from high-level executives and key influencers in both private and publicly traded organizations.
Ideal candidates will cultivate relationships and pinpoint Workiva's products and solutions that align with customer requirements to enhance customer acquisition within a designated territory. Growth in sales is achieved through new customer subscriptions, professional services, delivery, and training initiatives.
This sales-focused position will emphasize Workiva's Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions for major accounts in the Nordics region.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify sales opportunities in partnership with Inside Sales, Solution Sales specialists, and Partnerships to create a robust sales pipeline Leverage insights gathered during the needs assessment phase to provide a compelling demonstration of the Workiva platform Skillfully manage customer objections - eliminating barriers - and discovering solutions to various client challenges Navigate the sales process effectively - steering it towards closure by showcasing Workiva's value proposition Consistently and promptly update customer relationship management tools to document customer interactions Deliver reliable and precise forward-looking information through pipeline analysis to project sales Formulate and implement a sales strategy with deliberate actions to secure the sale Mobilize internal support to pursue an account and optimize internal resources Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-up Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Workiva products through a commitment to continuous training and a growth-oriented mindset Share insights, successes, lessons learned, and best practices with colleagues across teamsRequired Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in a related field - enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of knowledge and relevant career experiencePreferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the GRC and audit sector - either experience selling GRC solutions or prior work in Audit or GRC - is highly preferred Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model Ability to demonstrate intricate software applications Strong business acumen and the capability to comprehend complex business challenges Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels Ability to identify and appreciate the influence of key stakeholders versus buyers and navigate the nuances of each during the sales cycle. Capacity to manage multiple complex sales cycles concurrently Proven experience in navigating and achieving sales success within large, enterprise organizations Proficiency in negotiating pricing while focusing on retaining value Capability to achieve (and surpass) sales quota targets Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish is preferred.Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
