The Opportunity:
VWR, part of Avantor, is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. If you have a passion for science, experience in the lab environment, and a drive for sales, this role may be the perfect fit for you.
What We're Looking For:
- You have a suitable university degree in science, biology, chemistry, or technology, or equivalent work experience from the laboratory area.
- You are motivated by creating results and finding solutions.
- You value professionalism and business acumen in your work and can independently drive your projects forward.
- Experience in laboratory and/or sales is an advantage.
- You are fluent in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing.
- You hold a valid driving license.
How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:
We are looking for an Account Manager who will work with potential and existing customers in laboratories within academia and hospitals.
- Your primary task will be to nurture and develop existing business relationships and carry out activities with these customers through visits, exhibitions, seminars, etc.
- You will build networks in the field and have a high market presence in our customers' daily lives.
- You will work closely with internal functions to support your work with the customer.
- The role includes travel that may involve overnight stays.
- You will work with the CRM system to develop sales within the customers' workflow.
- You will run sales activities to achieve set budget goals for your customers.
