We cover the entire biogas value chain, from feedstock sourcing to distribution and end-user sales. We aim to achieve 3 TWh biomethane production and 6 TWh biomethane sales by 2030, with a focus on heavy transport, maritime, and industrial applications.
To support this ambitious expansion, we are committed to investing in biogas production and distribution networks across the Nordics, with several major projects underway.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced accounting leader to join our team as Head of Accounting and Tax. The successful candidate will lead, develop, and elevate our accounting and tax functions to excellence during an exciting period of transformation and growth.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all St1 Biokraft entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Develop and maintain accounting principles, a finance handbook, and procedures to support accurate reporting and internal controls.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of shared accounting services and subsidiary accounting departments.
- Collaborate with external auditors to lead the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
- Drive lean processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficient systems to enhance reporting accuracy and automation.
- Ensure compliance with excise duties, tax filings, and legislation while optimizing tax strategies.
- Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to optimize financial reporting and align processes with company objectives.
