Data Center Critical Environment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Critical Environment Technician to join our team at Amazon Data Services Sweden AB. As a key member of our Infrastructure Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center's electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment and HVAC equipment within the data center. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Incident Response and Resolution: Respond to and resolve incidents and events related to data center systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other teams, including contractors and data center engineers, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
- Site Walk-Throughs and Inspections: Perform regular site walk-throughs to verify the proper operation of facility equipment and monitoring systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain the highest safety standards and encourage a world-class safety culture. Ensure remediation of safety risks and issues in conjunction with other teams.

Requirements- Experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission-critical environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, web-based operational tools, Change Management Systems (CMS), and Ticket Systems.
- Valid Driving License.
- Data Center engineering experience.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Familiar with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending.
- Good command of English.
