Job Title: Global Account Manager

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager to join our team. As a Global Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all activities into and within a global business for a specific customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize business opportunities and ensure TE Connectivity is in prime position to grow and develop sales profitability.
  • Coordinate and report on local and global Volvo requirements and link in with other Volvo group companies and local TE Sales Representatives as required.
  • Grow TE content at Volvo beyond normal build rate levels through TERP generation and increased content per vehicle.
  • Develop and sell TE products to the Volvo group and other allocated local companies.
  • Build a strong network of relationships for all Volvo group companies.
  • Responsible for quotations and negotiations of specific projects as well as pricing of existing business.
  • Identify application areas where TE does not have a dominating position and define account coverage and product requirements.
  • Lead and guide customer focus teams, manage dotted line reports, and identify needs for support, training, and coaching.
  • Communicate results and account activity regularly and comprehensively.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent education.
  • 6 to 8 years experience in various Business Administration and Sales assignments.
  • At least 4 years of Senior Sales account management experience.
  • Good TE product knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of trends / competition / technology that will influence products and sales.
  • Strong experienced negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, Swedish is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to motivate his/her sales team.
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation.
