We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer Consultant to join our team at Cradlepoint. As a Sales Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for working directly with customers, partners, and other sales engineers to support Private Wireless opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Private Wireless related sales engagements through to completion
  • Develop labs, training, and documentation on related products and features
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Successfully match customer pain points to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value proposition
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses
  • Promote, conduct, and manage Proof of Concepts, trials, and demonstrations in the field
  • Document customer and industry use cases for internal and external use
  • Provide customers and prospects with hands-on configuration assistance and training
  • Effectively communicate client needs to R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
Requirements
  • Five to seven years of demonstrated technical success in pre-sales systems engineering in 3GPP cellular technologies (or equivalent experience)
  • One to two years of experience working with Private Wireless solutions and ecosystems
  • Strong knowledge of Private Wireless networks and their associated use cases
  • Good understanding of private or public cloud design considerations like containerization, distributed systems, load balancing, LTE, and 5G architecture
  • Familiarity with Enterprise network concepts, protocols, and solutions, such as routing, VPN, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, etc.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable language for any level of audience
  • Superior professional and communications skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguous scenarios, resolve conflict, influence preconceptions, and overcome objections
  • Confident self-starter with integrity and accountability; a track record of consistent achievement
  • A strong aptitude for business strategy and excellent collaboration skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up, team-oriented environment
