The role of a Business Developer, Data Center at Hilti Corporation is to create and execute strategies that increase adoption of Hilti solutions in the data center industry. This involves developing business opportunities through a selected portfolio of accounts and projects, and coordinating with local and global teams associated with these accounts.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing data center accounts through account standardization, project specification, sales development, and multi-level relationship management.
  • Developing strategies for assigned accounts and segment game plans, and leading their implementation.
  • Building and owning a data center project pipeline to identify largest business opportunities for Hilti in these projects.
  • Proactively building-up and participating in project capture teams to drive aligned focus projects and increase share of wallet.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working on data center projects and an MSc/BSc degree in commercial, mechanical, or civil engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create trust through active listening, influencing with leadership, and not authority.
  • Long-term strategic thinking with the capability of explaining and transmitting targets and strategy to customers, peers, and management.
