Commercial Development Manager

SSAB AB is seeking a results-driven professional to lead our sales team in Sweden. As Head of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.
Key responsibilities include identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, empowering sales teams through impactful training, and driving digital innovation. You will lead a dynamic team, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders and shaping the future of our business.
The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset with a strategic, long-term approach. They will be an open-minded, curious, and effective communicator with the ability to see the bigger picture. Knowledge and experience in the steel industry, as well as product development and production, would be highly valued.
About the RoleResponsibilities include:
- Leading a global team with diverse experiences
- Conducting market analysis and research to identify trends and customer needs
- Developing strategic plans to enter new markets or expand existing ones
- Driving digital development initiatives to enhance sales efficiency and customer experience
- Delivering training sessions to the sales team
