As the global demand for Live and Virtual training systems is increasing, we are looking for new members to our dedicated sales team. Are you our next Sales Manager to take on the challenge of increasing sales in Saab's strategic markets?

Your Role

The world is changing rapidly, and therefore we have to adapt and be proactive in our work to give the support that our customers are demanding.

As part of the Sales Team at Business Unit Training and Simulation, you will play an important part in the process of providing our customers with our latest capability offerings as well as the world-leading Live “Force on Force” training system. You enjoy situations where you interact socially and face customers frequently.

Being a member of the Training and Simulation Sales team puts emphasis on listening, interacting, and taking an active part in both internal and external functions, working closely in cooperation with stakeholders in other Business Areas, as well as working with other internal teams such as Global Business Development at the corporate level.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to demonstrate a strong drive, commitment, and ability to motivate and engage your colleagues, and when needed, lead a team with a variety of knowledge to identify and capture new business opportunities. You are a confident communicator leading your sales process by values, visions, and goals.

The role includes:

- Responsible for achieving Capture Objectives including order intake targets
- Working closely with internal functions and external customers
- Participation in exhibitions, customer demonstrations, and other customer activities

Your profile

To take on the challenge as Sales Manager at Saab, you are a socially skilled person who has an easy way of making contacts and cooperating inside and outside the company. You are comfortable in making decisions and have a high level of integrity.

You have a clear vision and strategy for what needs to be done to reach set goals. It is highly desirable that you are currently working as a sales representative and therefore know the fundamentals of the role, such as good business skills and an understanding of a complex sales process to win business among other sales-related activities.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
