We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow our relationships with our most strategic clients. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, a deep understanding of the construction and building materials industries, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at both clients.
    Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  2. Revenue Growth:
    Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
    Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
    Monitor market trends and competitor activities to position our solutions effectively.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:
    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
    Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
    Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback to improve products and services.
    Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development, operations) to deliver exceptional service to clients.
    Coordinate with the General Manager – European Key Accounts to align on strategy and execution.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    Provide regular reports on account performance, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
    Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the construction, building materials, or related industries.

Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages (e.g., French, German) is a plus.
