About the role:

We are looking for a Field Sales Manager to lead our off-trade field sales team consisting of sales representatives and area sales managers. This role is responsible for delivering sales growth, market share growth, and operational excellence through a high-performing field sales team.

From leading a successful field sales team to assuring top-notch in-store execution and contributing to channel performance and profitability, this role is vital to our success in the Swedish market.

You will report to the Sales Director and work closely with the nearest team consisting of key account managers, customer marketing manager, and sales support specialist. This role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing, logistics, and finance.

What you will do:

Managing successful and profitable sales

  • Responsible for turnover and profitability of the entire field sales team and business in line with channel strategy and goals.
  • Ensure brand sales briefs are effectively executed in-store, maximizing brand visibility and impact.
  • Responsible for steering and managing field sales operations, setting targets for the team, and monitoring and reporting results.
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of field sales cycles against targets.
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring the field sales expense budget.

Leading the team

  • Lead, coach, and develop an engaged and high-performing sales representative team including area sales managers.
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and support, including co-riding with team members.
  • Support the team in managing customer relations and implementing key customer targets and plans.
  • Define, implement, and monitor the perfect sales visit model and ways of working.
  • Foster in-store excellence through structured training, regular feedback, and follow-up.
  • Lead and inspire the team to work and succeed in line with our values and mission "Ambassadörer för glädje och fina stunder."
  • Engage and contribute in channel development and management, meaning strategy, plans, and target setting.
  • Work closely with the channel management team to refine and execute field sales strategy aligned with the channel strategy and customer plans.
  • Act as a link and representative for field sales to internal stakeholders, reporting back for possible improvement needs and insights for company-level development.

  • Strong experience in leading and managing geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance, optimize field and in-store execution.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and leadership skills, with experience in performance management.
  • Exceptional negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to team leadership.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Ability to travel across regions as coaching and co-riding with sales representatives is a crucial part of the role.
