Join us as a Service Operations Manager and take charge of our day-to-day operations. In this pivotal role, you will enhance customer satisfaction, tackle challenges at our storage sites and website, with the goal to ensure smooth central operations.
The need for better solutions for storage has never been bigger - with fewer homes featuring built-in solutions, the demand for affordable, secure, and easily accessible storage alternatives is growing. Our mission is to fill this significant gap, and we need your proactive, hands-on leadership to make it happen.
About the Role
As the Service Operations Manager, you will be directly involved in managing operational tasks and processes, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any challenges or issues that arise with our storage locations or e-commerce platform. You will work closely with the founders and the entire team to ensure the storage sites are functioning optimally and customers are supported across multiple channels. This position is highly versatile, and we expect you to be proactive to avoid problems from occurring, and hands-on in solving problems when they inevitably do occur.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing operational challenges at storage sites and ensuring centralized solutions are implemented.
- Select tooling and setup processes to run a smooth operation and minimize avoidable issues.
- Handling customer support and resolving any issues with our services.
- Be the central point of contact regarding our operations and ensure efficient communication between different teams and stakeholders.
- Identifying areas of improvement in the customer experience and proposing solutions that make us faster and our customers happier.
We are looking for someone with:
- 2-3 years of experience from an operations, customer success, or project manager role.
- Proven track record of handling high number of tasks in parallel.
- Previous experience in e-commerce and customer support is highly desirable.
- Structured, hands-on, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously and ensure smooth operations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
