Your roleWe are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our Marketing & Sales team responsible for Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) systems.
You will have close interaction with the customers, partners, programs, product owners, business development and strategy team, finance and commercial and Saabs top management.
The goal is to influence potential customers and define successful win-strategy to develop and secure business.Main responsibilities:
- Business Development, in early stage
- Create close relationships with partners and costumers
- Identify opportunities to develop business models which allies with Saab ́s overall strategy
- And also, cooperate with internal units mentioned above, to meet customer requirements, estimate value and offer the best solutionThis position offers a unique position to work with complex business development in highly competitive international defence market and provides opportunity to work with world leading portfolio and key areas for the company future. This means being able to manage large scale complex offerings in early phases of the sales cycle towards both new and existing customers.
These travels can both be related to specific customer interactions as well as general marketing events such as exhibitions and tradeshows.
Your profileWe are looking for candidate with excellent business understanding and leadership skills. Someone with experience from complex strategic international business development and sales in a multicultural environment. The successful candidate has a track record of converting early business development leads into actual opportunities.We think you have a technical or business degree from university and/or experience from marketing and sales of complex systems on export market on an international market.
Previous experience from Airborne Early Warning and Control domain and/or Defense sector is an advantage.Analytical skills, as well as a creative mind, are very important not only to understand the customer requirements and system solutions, but also to manage all the financial aspects of our proposals.
To be successful in this role, we see that you have the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions.
You also have persistence and dedication to handle long term marketing and sales initiativesSince you mainly will engage international customers, English skills in a business environment both orally and in writing is mandatory.
It is also preferable with Swedish skills.This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
