Are you a Junior Designer who has a great passion for the Girlswear customer ? Do you enjoy working in a high tempo with different types of products on a daily basis? Then this role might be for you, join us working in a positive and high team spirit
As a Junior Designer on Kids Girls you are responsible for supporting two Product Designers on the Kids girls collections: woven, dresses, skirts, blouses and knitwear for girls, ages 2-10 but main focus is for the 5 years old. The role involves, but is not limited to, flat sketching, work in CLO 3D, assist with fittings, produce and update collection overviews and colours collaborating with print design. You work closely with the whole team, as well as with production in developing our collections for all our global markets. This is a great opportunity to develop from your current individual design level, whilst learning from our global team. Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a true passion for the Kids Girls customer and essential products. You are positive, energetic, creative, and playful with a great eye for upcoming fashion trends for these customer groups. You will contribute with updated fashion insights with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity, and global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day Teamwork, structure and capacity to prioritize is very important as well as working independently and have the ability of fast decision making.
We look for:
• BA/MA degree in Fashion /Textile Design
• Work experience as Jr Designer/Design Assistant
• Strong and fast-paced in Adobe Creative Suite and CLO3D
• A passion for and commercial understanding of global Kids girls customers and trends
• Great fashion lifestyle trend awareness able to translate this to products
• Knowledge of woven and knitwear materials
• Flexible team player who can work at fast paced in a diverse, everchanging work environment
• A highly organized and structured person able to manage many tasks, time lines and stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong communication skills
• Very self-driven and takes initiatives
• English fluency (Swedish not necessary)
Additional Information
This is a full time permanent position starting as soon as possible at our H&M Head office in Stockholm working on site.
