Are you motivated by being a part of establishing a brand with quality at its core? Would you like to take on a new challenge in a customer focused start-up environment? Then you might be the Jr Buyer we are looking for.
The role
As Junior Buyer, you will join a highly skilled and experienced team of designers and buyers. This tight team is dedicated to creating ARKET Home hard goods and textiles, always with sustainability at the core of their work. You will actively support a Senior Buyer with daily tasks such as communication with our production offices, assortment planning, sample handling, placement and monitoring of orders, quantification of orders. You take an active role in doing sales analysis, taking actions and follow-up. Organizing fitting sessions will also be one of your responsibilities as well as organizing and administrate wholesale.

To be successful in this role you have a strong business sense, customer focus and passion for design. As a Junior Buyer you will follow and analysing current trends as well as sales figures, so great analytical skills are key. We are looking for a Jr buyer with experience from working with budget, buying follow up and quantification. You are passionate about developing the best product and have a basic knowledge of materials. We value strong multitasking capabilities and a will to take action and ownership. It's a bonus if you have experience and or passion for homeware and interior design.
As Jr Buyer at ARKET you work in an environment where not every process and structure are set and flexibility, problem solving and a prestige less mindset will be important abilities to reach success. You will need to be organised, manage your time and keep focus on what creates value. We believe that the best results are created together with your team, and we look for a team-oriented person that wants to grow into the role as well as the brand.
We prefer a minimum of one-year experience as a junior buyer or buyer assistant.

A modern-day market that offers essential products for men, women, children, and the home, ARKET stores also include a café based on the New Nordic Food Manifesto. ARKET’s mission is to democratise quality through widely accessible, well-made, durable products, designed to be used and loved for a long time. The team includes designers, chefs, architects, buyers, writers and many others – approximately 160 are working in the Stockholm office in Södermalm – sharing their expertise and experience and working towards a common goal. There are also satellite production teams in countries around the globe working closely with ARKET’s suppliers.
