Job Description

We are recruiting two Pattern Makers for our teams at Young Costumer including varied product groups like night- and under wear, socks, accessories and more. The role includes products for both Young Boy and Young Girl (8-14 years). 

In this position you will work with diversified silhouettes, different qualities and fun details. Working at the Kids assortment you will specialize in how the body grows and how children’s fit develop as they grow older. You will get the chance to be creative and enjoy the fun of working with kid’s collections. We have come far in our digital journey and work at a fast pace to capture the needs and expectations of our exciting ever-changing customer.

As a Pattern Maker you are accountable for creating the desired silhouettes with a good fit in all sizes, always with target customer focus. You are responsible for creating the technical package, updating, and communicating correct fit and size based on our design goals. You manage costumer fit and size strategies, product type and timeline throughout the product development together with the team. Always with sustainability and profitability in mind when creating our collection.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges and exciting projects for the Young customer. Kids assortment is a dynamic workplace where high pace, collaborative mindset, willingness to always improve our product creations are a natural part of our everyday. 

About you:

We are looking for driven and flexible Pattern makers with a one-team mindset who love the Young fashion customer group, and are passionate about creating the best fit for them. We believe you are visionary, like to inspire and involve the team working towards common goals with a creative, sustainable and inclusive environment 

Qualifications

Degree in Pattern Making with at least 2 years work experience

Worked with digital pattern making software and preferably CLO 3D and/or other 3D systems

Are skilled and passionate about working with patterns, fit and technical solutions

Have a great eye for size & proportions and grading knowledge 

Good knowledge for materials and fabrics plus production knowledge

Have a commercial costumer mindset with a clear understanding of our target costumer

Creative problem solver

Leadership, like to guide, involve, and inspire the team

Strong in communication 

Always see possibilities, improvements, and simple solutions 

Effective and structured – highly organized is key 

Flexible and adaptable

Additional Information

These are temporary- full-time positions with 11 months contracts, starting as soon as possible  located at the H&M Head office in Stockholm.
