Description
The Advanced Troubleshooter (HIL) ensures the availability, reliability, and fault-free operation of complex HIL rigs used for ECU and system-level verification.

The role combines hands-on rig maintenance, hardware/software debugging, and deep signal-level troubleshooting across multiple communication interfaces.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Basetech Testing, SWDL, and Gateway diagnostics.
• Strong electrical fault tracing ability at the vehicle or ECU level.
• Excellent knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols.
• Proficient in Vector tools (CANoe / CANalyzer).
• Understanding of continuous integration environments and test automation frameworks is a plus.
• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.

Job responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and operate HIL rigs automation (Vector-based).
• Perform fault tracing on ECU hardware, communication networks (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), and rig components.
• Execute software download (SWDL) and diagnostic activities for ECUs.
• Analyze communication logs using CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
• Support configuration and calibration of test systems and dyno setups.
• Collaborate with system engineers and developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve complex test issues.
• Ensure baseline and configuration management of rig software.
