Description
The Advanced Troubleshooter (VIL) maintains complete-vehicle VIL rigs, ensuring operational readiness, system reliability, and accurate fault tracing.

Each rig combines a Vector test system, a real vehicle on a dyno, and simulation infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that bridges test operations, diagnostics, and system analysis.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with complete-vehicle diagnostics and testing.
• Skilled in Vector toolchain (CANoe, CANalyzer) and network analysis tools (Wireshark, DLT).
• Strong understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet vehicle networks.
• Good knowledge of SW download procedures, gateway management, and rig control.
• Experience in continuous integration, baseline/binary management, or test automation is a plus.
• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Systems.

Job responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and operate VIL rigs, and ensure full vehicle test readiness (SW, HW, and instrumentation).
• Conduct complete-vehicle fault tracing (electrical, software, and communication-level).
• Perform software downloads (SWDL), gateway configuration, and diagnostic verification.
• Analyze logs and traces via CANoe, Wireshark, DLT, and vehicle-specific tools.
• Support test campaigns and regression activities for SUM, TPMS, and other ECUs.
• Manage SW baselines, binaries, and rig configurations.
• Proactively identify degradation, log anomalies, and suggest corrective measures.
